HSN Code and GST Tax rate for cotton under section-11 chapter-52

If the trader’s trades for cotton then they will have to use the HSN CODE for the cotton in the invoice or in the GST Return for identifications of the cotton.

According to the chapter-52 ( HSN code for cotton of section-11)- Notes

For the purposes of sub-headings 5209 42 and 5211 42, the expression “denim” means fabrics of yarns of different colors, of 3 – thread or 4 – thread twill, including broken twill, warp faced, the warp yarns of which are of one and the same color and the weft yarns of which are unbleached, bleached, dyed, grey or colored a lighter shade of the color of the warp yarns.
