HSN Code and GST Tax rate for Cereals under section-2 chapter-10
If the trader’s trades for Cereals then they will have to use the HSN CODE for the Cereals in the invoice or in the GST Returns for identifications of the Cereals.
According to the chapter-10 of section-2 – Notes
- The products specified in the headings of this Chapter are to be classified in those headings only if grains are present, whether or not in the ear or on the stalk.
- The Chapter does not cover grains that have been hulled or otherwise worked. However, rice, husked, milled, polished, glazed, parboiled or broken remains classified in heading 1006.
- Heading 1005 does not cover sweet corn (Chapter 7).
