HSN Code and GST Tax rate for Meat and edible meat offal under section-1 chapter-2

If the trader’s trades for Meat and edible meat offal then they will have to use the HSN CODE for Meat and edible meat offal in the invoice or in the GST Returns for identifications of the Meat and edible meat offal.

According to the chapter-2 of section-1 covers all Meat and edible meat offal except :

  1. Products of the kinds described in headings 0201 to 0208 or 0210, unfit or unsuitable for human consumption,
  2. Guts, bladders or stomachs of animals (heading 0504) or animal blood (heading 0511 or 3002), or
  3. Animal fat, other than products of heading 0209 (Chapter 15).

In this Chapter, “wild animal” means wild animal as defined in the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972
