What are the guidelines for applying a ration card?

THESE ARE THE GUIDELINES AND INFORMATION FOR FILLING THE FORM
(1) As per NFS Act, the NFS ration card is to be issued in the name of the eldest female member of the family.

(2) The household having an annual income of less than Rs. 1 lakh and fulfilling the following criteria will be considered as eligible households for inclusion in the ‘Priority’ or AAY category as the case may
be. (Fill any one of the following in category (Column No. 9).

  1. A resident of Slums.
  2. A resident of resettlement colonies of F, G & H category.
  3. And a Resident of notified populated village area;
  4. Shelter Less.
  5. Transgender.
  6. Disabled person (Disabled persons producing disability certificate under Equal
  7. Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation Act 1995);
  8. A single woman (including the widow, unmarried, separated & deserted) living in household or
  9. as Head of the family.
  10. Unassisted/Destitute Children;
  11. Occupationally vulnerable groups like Rag pickers, unskilled construction workers, coolie,
  12. Daily wager, un-regularised domestic workers, Cycle Rickshaw puller, unskilled labor in
  13. Small and cottage industries;
  14. Other households having annual family income less than Rs. 1,00,000/-

(3) Your forms are liable to be rejected due to the following reasons:-

  1. If any of the family members possess lightweight or heavyweight four-wheeler vehicle (One
  2. Commercial vehicle for livelihood will be excluded)
  3. If any of the family members has house and land in A to E category in Delhi.
  4. If any of the family members are availing ration or food subsidy in any of the Govt. schemes.
  5. and If any of the family members is Income Tax Payee.
  6. If any of family member is working on any Posts in Central/State/Local Bodies or
  7. autonomous bodies of central/state Govt. etc.
  8. If the household have electricity connection of more than 2 kilowatts.

(4) Documents to be attached with the application:-

  1. Copy of Aadhaar Card/EID of all family members.
  2. Copy of proof of address of the applicant, if the address given in the form is different from
  3. the address given in Aadhaar Card. No Address Proof is required from shelterless persons.
  4. Income certificate issued by the Revenue Department if required (Income Certificate is not
  5. required for the persons in category (i) to (viii) of the points No. 2 of guidelines).
  6. Copy of ration Card if the applicant issued a ration card earlier.
  7. Any category-specific certificate prescribed in para 2 above.

(5) Place of submitting the application:- Duly filled application form along with the enclosures should be submitted to the concerned circle office or GRC centers.

How to download your ration card?

when you have applied for any service online on e-district Delhi portal and have got a message of issuance of certificate and you don’t know how to download online then follow these steps-

First of all, go to e- district portal then Print and download certificate link and then click on it now enter required details such as

  1. Enter application number > date of birth> Aadhar card no> then type captcha and click on continue button
  2. Now you will get an OTP on your registered mobile no just enter in the required field and enter again captcha and click on download button
  3. and after that, your certificate will be downloaded in pdf format just get print and use.
