  1. First of all, go to the GST portal site by the google search engine
  2. Then go to Services>Registration>New Registration>
  3. Here you will see two option-new registration and TRN No
  4. Just go through TRN no means login by TRN no with the help of OTP
  5. Then you will see your GST registration status.

With the help of ARN No

  1. First of all, go to the GST portal site by the google search engine
  2. Then go to Services>Registration>Track Application Status
  3. Now enter your ARN No with the captcha and search
  4. Finally, you will see the GST registration status and track the process if it is still pending.

How to file an application for clarification of GST registration?

We need to file an application for clarification if GST registration is pending some clarification as you find in your GST registration status.

  1. First of all, go to the GST portal site by the google search engine
  2. Then go to Services>Registration> Application for filing Clarification
  3. Just log in with your TRN NO and see a demand notice will be over there
  4. That demand notice can be a show-cause notice or document demand notice cause of a mismatch in a document or any other reason.
  5. So now you need to clarify the clarification issue as shown in your notice.
  6. Then file your clarification application with the proper supporting documents and wait for the response.

How to search for GST taxpayer detail on the GST portal?

We can search GST taxpayer detail on the GST portal with the help of PAN NO and GSTIN No by these steps-

  1. First of all, go to the GST portal site by the google search engine
  2. Then go to menu> search taxpayer option
  3. Now choose Search by GSTIN or Search by PAN No option
  4. Just enter your pan no or GSTIN No as per your selected option
  5. And fill pan no and GSTIN No as required
  6. You will see your GSTIN No all detail and status.

How can I track the status of my Registration Application?

You can track the status of the registration application at both the pre and post-login stages on the GST Portal.

  1. To view the status of your registration application pre-login, navigate to the Services > Track Application Status option.
  2. To view the status of your registration application Post-login, login to the GST Portal and navigate to the Services > Track Application Status option.
  3. And to view the status of the new registration application at post-login TRN, navigate to Services > Registration > New Registration > Select the Temporary Reference Number (TRN) option.

What are the different ways in which you can track the status of your Registration Application?

You can track the status of your registration application in the following ways:

  1. Pre-Login: You can track the status of any application related to registration (like new registration, core amendment of registration, cancellation of registration, etc.), using ARN at the pre-login stage, once the application is submitted on the Portal.
  2. Post-Login: You can track the status of any registration application (like new registration, core amendment, cancellation of registration, etc.) at the post-login stage, once a new registration application is submitted on the Portal, using ARN or submission period.
  3. Using TRN: You can track the status of a new registration application using ARN, once Part B of the new registration application is submitted on the GST Portal, post-login (using TRN).
  4. Using SRN: You can track the status of a new registration application using SRN, which was generated on submission of the registration application on the MCA Portal, at the pre-login stage.

What are the different status types for Registration Applications?

Listed below are the different status types for Registration Applications:

  1. Pending for Processing – When a new registration application is filed successfully and is pending with Tax Officer for Processing
  2. Site Verification Assigned – When an application for registration is marked for Site visit and verification to the Site Verification Officer
  3. Site Verification Completed – When the Site verification report is submitted by Site Verification Officer to the tax officer
  4. Pending for Clarification – When a Notice for seeking clarification is issued by Tax Officer to the applicant
  5. Clarification filedPending for order – When clarification is filed successfully by the applicant to the tax officer and its pending order by the officer
  6. Clarification not filed – Pending for order – When clarification is not filed by the applicant within prescribed days and its pending order by the officer
  7. Approved – Application is Approved – When Registration ID and password are emailed to the applicant once the new registration application is approved by the Tax Officer
  8. Rejected – When a new registration application is Rejected by Tax Officer
  9. Withdrawn – When the application is withdrawn by the applicant or taxpayer
